My passion for all things electronic started the first time i heard The Man machine by Kraftwerk when i was a kid and by the time i was 16 Glasgow was just starting to put on the music events and clubs that made the difference. In the 90′s i put together the Seventh City club nights and always promoted the music of Detroit, Sheffield and Eindhoven from that time and then went onto work on Psychoacoustic promoting music and art. Major influences over the years have been artists with such pedigrees as Autechre, Ultradyne, Plaid, Model 500, Random XS, Speedy J and of course the brilliant Drexciya.
Always on the look out for the new and bold sounds of today whilst having a healthy respect for the classics i suppose you could say i’m a experimental electro Dj with a techno edge.
Up Digital started in 2010 and i currently DJ at the club DUM DUM in Glasgow, the club always has the best of electronica playing live also and you can expect guest slots on a regular basis here too.
